Each Wix app matched to a Shopify feature, an App Store app or a custom build.
Shopify development →06
DNS switch, launch-day checks and Search Console monitoring in the weeks after go-live.
How we run it
A Wix to Shopify migration works in five steps: audit, map, build, launch and monitor. We follow the same order on every store.
Step 1
Crawl the Wix site and list every URL, product, customer export and app in use.
Step 2
Map /product-page/, /post/ and page URLs to Shopify's /products/, /blogs/ and /pages/ paths.
Step 3
Build the Shopify theme and import products, customers and orders to a staging store.
Step 4
Point the domain to Shopify, import the 301 redirects and run launch checks.
Step 5
Watch Search Console, orders and account reactivations, and fix gaps fast.
From Wix
Wix can export product, contact and order data, but your design, apps and most page content have to be rebuilt in Shopify. Here is how each part moves.
Wix Stores products export to CSV. We reshape options, variants and images to fit Shopify's product structure and check every SKU before import.
Customer records and order history move with a migration app or the Shopify API. Passwords cannot be migrated, so customers get an invitation to reactivate their account.
Wix blog posts at /post/ become Shopify articles under /blogs/, and pages move to /pages/. Titles, meta descriptions and image alt text come across with them.
Shopify SEO →Wix apps for forms, chat, bookings or reviews are replaced with Shopify features such as Shopify Forms and Shopify Inbox, or with apps from the Shopify App Store.

FAQ
Not if the migration is planned for search. Wix and Shopify use different URL structures, so a product at /product-page/name moves to /products/name on Shopify. We map every old URL to its new one with a 301 redirect, carry over titles and meta descriptions, and watch Search Console after launch to catch gaps.
Most stores move when they outgrow Wix as a commerce platform. Common reasons are a growing catalog with more variants, inventory across several locations, integrations with ERP, 3PL or marketplace systems, and the need for apps Wix does not offer. Shopify is built around commerce, with a large App Store and an API for custom work.
Yes. Customer records and order history can be moved to Shopify with a migration app or the Shopify API. Passwords cannot be migrated for security reasons, so customers are invited to reactivate their accounts with an account activation email. We test the data on a staging store first so customer and order records match before launch.
Not directly. Wix designs cannot be moved to Shopify, so the design is rebuilt as a Shopify theme. We can match your current look closely or use the move to improve it, with templates built for your products, collections and content. The theme is built on staging and reviewed before launch.
It depends on the store. Catalog size, data quality, the number of Wix apps and features to replace and the amount of design work all affect timing. Small stores move faster than large catalogs with custom features. You get a written timeline before work starts, and launch is planned for a low-traffic window.
