Common issues

What are the most common WordPress SEO problems?

These are the issues we find most often on WordPress sites.

  1. Too many plugins slowing every page and loading scripts site-wide.
  2. Tag and archive pages indexed as thin duplicate content.
  3. Two SEO plugins or a theme both writing titles and schema.
  4. Page builders producing heavy markup and poor Core Web Vitals.
  5. Old posts with broken internal links and no clear topic structure.

FAQ

Questions about WordPress SEO

Is WordPress good for SEO?

Yes. WordPress can rank very well when the theme is fast, plugins are kept lean and the site structure is planned. Most WordPress SEO problems come from plugin bloat, duplicate archive pages and heavy page builders, which can all be fixed.

Which SEO plugin should we use?

Yoast and Rank Math both work well. What matters is using one, configuring it correctly and making sure your theme does not output its own titles or schema at the same time. We review and fix the setup you have.

Should we move from WordPress to Webflow or Shopify?

Only if WordPress no longer suits how your team works or what the site must do. Many sites are better served by fixing WordPress than by migrating. If a move makes sense, such as Shopify for a growing store, we plan it with full redirects so rankings carry over.

Do you work on WooCommerce?

Yes. We work on WooCommerce stores to improve speed, product schema, category structure and faceted navigation. When a store has outgrown WooCommerce, we can also migrate it to Shopify with every product and category URL redirected, so the store keeps its search traffic.

Can you build new WordPress pages and templates?

Yes. We build custom Gutenberg blocks, templates and integrations in WordPress, so your team can publish new pages without a heavy page builder slowing the site. Each template is built with clean headings, schema and fast loading, so new pages start on a strong SEO footing.
