Marketplace management for Amazon, Walmart and eBay.

Marketplace management means running your Amazon, Walmart and eBay channels as one connected operation. NativeCode is an Atlanta-based team serving brands nationwide: we set up and maintain seller accounts, optimize listings, sync catalog, inventory and orders from Shopify or your ERP, monitor pricing and the buy box, and run marketplace ads.

What’s included

What does marketplace management include?

Marketplace management includes account health, listings, catalog and inventory sync, order flow, pricing and advertising on each marketplace. We run these as one system, so a stock or price change in your store reaches every channel.

01

Account setup and health

We set up Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace and eBay accounts and watch account health, policy warnings and performance metrics.

02

Listings and catalog

We write titles, bullets and attributes to each marketplace's rules, fix images and build A+ Content and Brand Store pages on Amazon.

03

Feed and catalog sync

We sync products from Shopify or your ERP to each marketplace with feed rules, so variants, attributes and categories map correctly.

04

Inventory, orders and EDI

We connect inventory and orders across channels, including EDI and API links with suppliers and 3PLs, so you do not oversell.

05

Pricing and buy box

We monitor prices and Buy Box ownership on Amazon and Walmart, and set repricing rules that protect your margin.

06

Marketplace advertising

We run Amazon Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands, Walmart Connect and eBay Promoted Listings, reported on sales and margin.

How we run it

How does a marketplace launch work?

A marketplace launch works in four steps: audit, list, connect and grow. Each channel goes live only after test orders, inventory updates and cancellations flow correctly.

Marketplace work builds on EDI integration and a well-structured store from Shopify development or ecommerce website design. Search and shopping ads off the marketplaces run through our PPC management team. The Spooky Costumes case study shows the supplier EDI connections we built for a Shopify store.

01

Audit

Review catalog data, account health, pricing and current ad spend on each marketplace.

02

List

Build or fix listings, attributes, images and A+ Content to each marketplace's rules.

03

Connect

Sync catalog, inventory and orders from Shopify or your ERP, and test before going live.

04

Grow

Run marketplace ads, monitor the buy box and report sales and margin by channel.

Questions

Marketplace management questions

Which marketplaces do you manage?

We manage Amazon, Walmart Marketplace and eBay for brands that also sell through their own store. Each marketplace has its own listing rules, fees, account health metrics and ad platform, so we run them as separate channels that share one catalog and one inventory source. Other marketplaces can be added when they fit your products.

Can you sync our Shopify catalog and inventory to Amazon and Walmart?

Yes. We connect Shopify or your ERP to each marketplace through native integrations, feed tools or custom connections, then map products, variants and attributes to each marketplace's categories. Inventory and orders sync both ways, so stock sold on one channel updates the others and orders reach your fulfillment team or 3PL without manual entry.

What is the Amazon Buy Box and why does it matter?

The Buy Box is the Add to Cart section on an Amazon product page, and the seller who holds it gets the sale when a shopper clicks Add to Cart. Amazon awards it based on factors such as price, delivery speed, stock and seller performance. We monitor who holds it, fix the issues we can control and set pricing rules that protect your margin.

Do you run Amazon and Walmart advertising?

Yes. We run Amazon Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands, Walmart Connect and eBay Promoted Listings. Campaigns are built around your product margins, with separate structures for brand, competitor and category searches. We report advertising cost of sales alongside total sales by channel, so ad spend is judged on profit, not only on ad-attributed revenue.

How does EDI fit into marketplace management?

EDI moves purchase orders, ship notices, inventory and invoices between you, your suppliers and some retail partners in standard formats. When products sold on Amazon, Walmart or eBay ship from a supplier or 3PL, EDI or API connections keep stock and tracking accurate on every channel. Our EDI integration service builds and monitors those connections.
